Pricing on items is controlled by the Pricing Scheme attached to the debtor that is populated into the sales order. The pricing Elements within that scheme attached to the sales order determine the price being applied for the quantity ordered for that customer. System settings and inventory specific settings control whether the user can over-ride that price. A pricing dialog box can be accessed against each sales order line to display the prices setup for that inventory item and debtor.
